»Let your filter system run continuously from the first warm days in spring to the first cold nights in autumn. Don't switch it off even for short periods. Microorganisms that live by removing nutrients from the pond water require a constant flow of water. You should biologically activate your filter system with starter bacteria at initial start-up and every subsequent start-up in spring, when the water temperature has reached 10 to 12 degrees Celsius!«
