or sandstone surface that harmonise wonderfully and
naturally with your garden.
Ideal
conditions are offered for water quality, plants, and fish. Deep and shallow areas as well as a bog zone are already laid out. The only thing left for you to do is install the pond - it is really quite easy and
does not take long.
Install it yourself – easily! Step 1
SELECT LOCATION: Balanced ratio of sunlight
hours and shade hours, and not in the direct
vicinity of trees.
Step 2
TOOLS REQUIRED: Tape measure, spade,
shovel, wheelbarrow, spirit level, garden
hose, and building sand. Let's go!
Step 3
LOCATING THE POND:
Place it in the intended location and align
in the desired position.
Step 4
MARK THE CONTOUR:
Sand works well for this. So that the contours of the pond shells are marked.
Step 5
COMPLETE CONTOUR: This is how the
markings should look, complete with
all deep zones.
Step 6
EXCAVATE THE HOLE:
Start from the outside and move to the inside, and verify the depth several times to be sure.
Step 7
FIRST PLACEMENT TRIAL:
Insert the pond to see how it fits and adjust
the hole as needed.
Step 8
SMOOTH OUT THE AREAS:
The floor should be horizontally and
vertically level and free of rocks.
Step 9
INTRODUCE THE FILL LAYERS:
Apply a bed of sand to the horizontal
surfaces.
Step 10
INSERT POND:
Use a spirit level to level in all directions.
Step 11
LET THE WATER RUN:
First fill only a third of the total pond
volume. Then level the pond again.
Step 12
FILL IN THE SIDES:
If the pond is solidly in place and horizontal,
then fill the sides with sand.
Step 13
SHAPE THE TRANSITION:
Gravel is a visually appealing and harmonious design element for the transition area.
Step 14
THE JOY INCREASES:
Add plants, install the fountain pump
and fill the pond completely with water.
Step 15
ENCHANTINGLY BEAUTIFUL:
The Stonecor® pre-formed pool water garden is ready!
