A pond offers habitat for a variety of flora and fauna – a complex ecosystem that wants to be maintained. An optimally matched filter system ensures guaranteed clear water.
Basically a filter system consists of a filter pump for feeding the filter, a pond filter for biological/mechanical cleaning of the pond water and a UVC clarifier to eliminate suspended algae and germs.
The mobile companion for pond owners and for those who want to become pond owners. With the pond planning function, individual step-by-step planning of a pond is easily possible. The data is stored and for the implementation a product list is provided for each plan.

An underwater filter with fountain is sufficient to create a small water paradise, even where space is at a minimum. In this case the entire technology is brought together in one device and can be set-up almost invisibly in the pond. These filters are suitable for small ponds or decorative pools up to 5,000 litres. A pressure filter can maintain the generated pump pressure and thus is ideally suited for delivering water to a higher-positioned waterfall or watercourse. The filter can be buried in the vicinity of the pond and is merely connected with the pump that is set up in the water. The water flows through the mechanical and biologically effective filter sponges that decompose the pollutants and clarify the water. Different filter materials ensure optimal settlement of filter biology. View products
A flow through filter is fed by the pump in the water. The filter is the highest point in this cleaning cycle; from this point the water then flows back into the pond. Flow through filters enable a higher oxygen offering and therefore work more efficiently on the biological side. The nutrients and pollutants are removed from the water by the filter system in biological-mechanical processes. The sponges in the inside of the filter over time also become a home for the beneficial microorganisms. View products
Every pond owner can extend the clever and powerful module filter systems from OASE, completely in accordance with their requirements. This enables individual capacity adaptation if the pond is enlarged or if fish stock is increased. This high-end filter system also leaves nothing to be desired for demanding koi keeping applications. View products
But what happens when suspended algae turn the water green and lessens the enjoyment of the garden pond? There is a remedy. Simply place the UVC clarifier in the water circuit; ideally upstream of your filter. The special light radiation in the interior of the UVC clarifier kills the algae, but also bacteria and germs are eliminated.
Every life form needs air to breathe, to grow and to thrive. Oxygen plays a major role, particularly in a garden pond, because here many different life forms can inhabit a small space. Pond filters - overview
If pollen in the spring or falling leaves in the autumn impair the quality of the water, then help is required. Plant remnants make the pond surface turbid and the nutrients input into the pond in this manner allow algae to grow rapidly. Skimmers keep the water clean by removing contaminants before they sink to the bottom of the pond.
Plant remains, algae and fish waste cause cloudiness and certainly lessen the enjoyment of the pond. Dead plants and fish waste are deposited on the floor as pond silt and bind oxygen. To keep your pond in top condition throughout the year we recommend vacuuming out the floor silt as needed. At the latest, sediments should be removed when they reach a height of 2 - 3 cm.
At lower temperatures the biological activities in the garden pond also lessen. To ensure that the pond does not freeze-through all the way to the pond floor in winter, water should neither be recirculated through filters, nor through pond pumps. Then the natural water stratification with different temperatures occur. In this case, there is a "water pocket” on the pond floor with a temperature of four degrees in which the animals can overwinter.
