How to calculate the required flow rate of the filter pump
AquaMax Eco Premium (page 66) / Gravity Eco (page 76) in l/h:
Ponds
without fish stock
:
Displacement capacity = pond volume (l): 8
Ponds
with fish stock
Displacement capacity = pond volume (l): 4
Ponds
with koi stock
:
Displacement capacity = pond volume (l): 2
Note: To keep the bacteria count low in the koi pond, the Bitron Gravity should be
operated with a max. flow rate of 12.5 m³/h. In regards recirculation. 55% of the
pond volume per hour should be the main objective. These recommendations are
already considered in the table above.

Double-row configuration
The filter systemmust be operated in two
filter rows that are separate from each other.

temperature and sun intensity.
