Description |
Musical Fountain |
Special features |
With over 480 individually controlled water effects and more than 1000 underwater lights, the fountain was renovated with a sustainable approach in mind. Retaining the existing form of the trenches, the old fountain system was replaced with new energy saving inverter pumps and LED illumination. The empowerment of this new technology was integral to the creation of the wide variety of water performances. |
Background |
Located within the park and framed by the iconic Twin Towers of KLCC, the fountain complements both the natural and urban surroundings with its modern appeal. Inspired by the beauty of nature and the vibrancy of tropical colours, the fountain takes on an abstraction of a flower bloom and brings it to life with three-dimensional water display and music. Strategically set within the outlines of the Symphony lake, new and exciting water effects promise an exciting visual treat. Open fan-shaped sprays will dance in swaying and spinning 360 degree motion, forming a myriad of water patterns. Rotating jets will spin up in a beautiful whirlwind of water and dazzling colours. All the dancing jets are given a new breath of life with a kaleidoscope of lights that twinkle, gradate and colour themselves to the mood of the night. |
